Fitness Routine - Update!

Hi loves! I have not posted a Fitness Friday in forever and I wanted to update you on what I have been doing lately fitness-wise! I am thinking about starting Fitness Friday back up again really soon! Basically, we have had winter for 6 months. Yes, it's slightly depressing. It is finally starting to warm up (when I say warm up, I mean 40 degrees). I did not really workout too much for awhile. For some reason, it is not just the bears that go into hibernation. I literally did too. It is just way too cold to work out in 10 degree weather. Even in the house, it is still not like summer. I actually just started getting back into working out again in the past three weeks. I really miss working out, so I am really excited to start back up again.

Story time: I went a walk for the first time since last fall. There was still snow on the ground, but I don't care anymore! I am trying to will away the cold weather! Anyways, we were walking... we start walking towards this bend that is always, in my opinion, really sketchy. Once you round this bend there is a campsite and the river. I am always afraid there will be wild animals in this particular area. So we're walking and I notice something in the snow. My first thought was that it was an animal, but I told myself that we were still far away enough that I could be wrong. It could just be a rock- no big deal. We get closer and it starts to roll around. Next thing you know, we are running for our lives. I could not quite make out which type of animal it was, but who I was with thought it was either a mountain lion, wolf, or large fox. Either way, super scary!!! Part of me thought it was that darn evil fox that is out to get us (the one mentioned in other Fitness Friday posts). But, that fox was not as large as this animal.

So, the saga continues... I always have stories to tell from my walks. Somehow I haven't been scared away from them yet! All in all, I am just starting to workout out and get on a schedule. My schedule will mellow out this next month, so I will have the opportunity to be more consistent. Once that happens, I will definitely be able to post about my fitness and start Fitness Friday again!
