Fitness Friday - Week 25

Hi loves! #TGIF How did you do on last week's challenge? Which workouts did you choose? Let me know in the comments below! 

I mentioned last week that I would probably go on a walk as a workout for the last time on Saturday. Well, it did not work out. The temperature dropped sooner than excepted... and I refuse to walk in freezing weather. haha So basically my walking days are over for a while. 

Sunday I did 100 jumping jacks. I stretched for 30 minutes and I danced for 1 hour. On Monday I did 100 jumping jacks. I stretched for 30 minutes and danced for 35 minutes. I also completed my Awesome Abs Workout

Tuesday I did 100 jumping jacks. I stretched for 32 minutes and I danced for 30 minutes. I also completed my Bomb Butt Workout. On Wednesday I only stretched for 20 minutes. Today I did 150 jumping jacks. I stretched for 30 minutes and danced for 45 minutes. It was so cold today that one of the reasons why I decided to dance was because I needed to get warm!

Since the temperature where I live dropped 20 degrees overnight last weekend, I was inspired to write a little bit about the importance of warming up before working out. Warming up is always important. It is especially important in cold weather because your joints are more vulnerable to injury. Additionally, your tendons and ligaments will become stiff, which can cause tiny tears if you are not careful. 

Any short warm up will do; however, I recommend jumping jacks. They are a quick and easy way to warm up your muscles. Remember this when it is cold outside and you want to exercise!! 


All of the workouts I created include jumping jacks as a warm up. The challenge for this week is to do any combination of my workouts at least three times.
