Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year! I am so excited for 2015! I kicked off the year with my mom's birthday, which is January 1st. I spent the day cooking for her. I created a menu, which of course consisted of a three course dessert. You just can't say no to dessert. We watched the Rose Parade, the Rose Bowl, the Sugar Bowl, and Under the Tuscan Sun (love this movie). It was a lot of fun!

Looking back at 2014, I can safely say that it was a great year because I started this blog! I had wanted to do it for many years and I finally decided to go for it! Woohoo!! I'm very proud of myself in that respect. I usually do not create resolutions at the beginning of each year. If you look up the word "resolution" in the dictionary, you will see that it means a firm determination to do or not to do anything. I feel as if it is a concrete decision that needs to be met, which is ultimately why so many resolutions are not accomplished. If you look up the word "goal" in the dictionary, you will see that it means an aim or desired result. This is what I am looking for. I love making goals for myself. They do not have to be too specific. If I aim to do something and it is not 100% accomplished at the end of the year, I can still continue to aim towards that goal in the next year.

I have a few goals for 2015. First, I want to grow my blog. I hope to get more and more followers! So, make sure you are following me on Bloglovin' and my other social media accounts!! :D I also want to be more consistent in everything I do- Fitness, Hobbies, etc. I feel like this year is going to be amazing and I am excited for what is to come! Do you have any goals for 2015? Let me know in the comments below!
