What I Got for Christmas 2014

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! I spent mine watching the Disneyland Parade, listening to music, watching many movies, and eating great food. I had a White Christmas for the first time! I moved about two years ago. There was not that much snow last year, so I don't consider it a White Christmas. This year it actually snowed on Christmas Eve. It accumulated into three feet!

I received some amazing gifts for Christmas. I am so grateful for everything! I am going to show you the main gifts I received.

My friend sent me this beautiful jewelry box and made me this bracelet to go along with it. I absolutely love both of them!

I opened this gift on Christmas Eve. My hair dryer actually broke two months ago and I have been using my mom's. This limited edition hot pink hair dryer is awesome and screams my name! I'm so excited I finally have my own hair dryer again!

It has been increasingly cold where I live. I have a navy puffer jacket and I didn't really have any scarfs to go with it. I'm so excited that I received this navy blue and cream striped scarf! It's going to be very useful and it is really cute!

I received two more navy items! I got a navy long sleeve t-shirt and a navy vest with a crystal peace sign on the back!

This is such a cute tin! There was my favorite candy in it- Milky Way, Milky Way Midnight, and Darkside Skittles. Who doesn't love getting candy for Christmas?! :D

I received some full size and sample size beauty products! I got a full size Clinique Fresh Bloom All-Over Colour in Plum Poppy. This is my second one of these. I have a different color that I am in love with so I am excited to try this one out! I am going to do a review on them soon. I also received a Clinique lipstick in Think Bronze and deluxe samples of Clinque's liquid facial soap and moisture surge extended thirst relief. I received a Maybelline lipstick in Pink Pop as well.

I got a deluxe size of MAC's black waterproof eyeliner pencil and a mini Jordana silver eyeliner pencil. I got two full size Jordana lip liners in ORO and Brick Red, as well as some Kate Somerville samples. I have already tried my Jordana lip liner in Brick Red and it matches perfectly with the Make Up For Ever Copper Red lipstick that comes in the Sephora birthday set (you can read the review of this lipstick here).

I got an Amore Pacific sample and two L'oreal True Match powder set samples in Level 2 (Fair/Light) and Level 5 (Medium). They are two completely different levels; however, my skin gets lighter in the wintertime. I may be medium now but I will eventually need to use the lighter shades! I got a Mary-Kate and Ashley compact mirror for my purse. They were my entire childhood, so I was over the moon when I got this little mirror!

The backstory to this amazing CD Player is that my old one broke a year ago. I have been listening to music on my computer, which in my opinion isn't the same thing. I love old-fashioned things, or things that look old-fashioned. This CD Player is totally my style! I love the black and chrome. I absolutely love music (I want to be a country singer), so this is literally the best present ever for me. I still can't believe I got it! I have been playing music and listening to the radio ever since I opened it.

I got the Carrie Underwood Blown Away Tour Live DVD and Lucy Hale's Road Between Deluxe Album. They are both amazing!!! If you love country music and you don't own these two, I suggest you buy them both at some point. You won't regret it!

I love Christina Aguilera and I always wanted these two for my collection. They are her Back to Basics two-disc CD and Back to Basics Live and Down Under Concert DVD. They are amazing!!

I received this Burlesque poster and Burlesque CD. I already have the Burlesque poster up on my wall! I love them both!

I was literally stunned when I opened up this gift. I left this CD at the gym a couple of years ago and I didn't repurchase it. I always wanted it again because it is one of my favorite CD's of all time, but I just didn't get around to buying it again. Not only did I get the CD, it is autographed by JoJo!!!! I have the autograph framed on my wall. I love it so much!

I'm so grateful I received all of these gifts for Christmas! What did you get for Christmas? Let me know in the comments below! :D

Sun Valley Festivities

I went to Sun Valley, Idaho with my mom for their Christmas Tree lighting. It was so much fun! It was literally like a Winter Wonderland. Snow was falling, carolers were singing, and the trees were all lit up. Everything about Sun Valley in the wintertime is magical!

Our first stop was Konditorei, the best restaurant ever! We split a large mocha with extra extra whipped cream (because just a little extra is not enough). :) We also split a pumpkin chocolate chip breakfast bread. Oh my goodness gracious! Why they call it breakfast bread I don't know because it is delectable! Moist, chocolaty, and just enough pumpkin - Amazing!!

Once our appetites were satisfied, we went to see the Christmas Tree lighting!

Here I am standing in front of the tree. It's not as large as the Christmas Tree at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, CA; but, it is still beautiful! The picture doesn't fully capture the beauty of the tree. It was dark outside, so we had to put on the flash. By doing so, the full ambiance of the night/tree wasn't fully captured.

This is my mom and me!

We then went inside the Inn. I'm giving the camera some attitude before the real picture is taken!

And this is the real picture... hehe

We went back outside to look at the beautiful ice sculptures! I don't understand how someone can carve these pieces of art out of ice... it's amazing!

I had so much fun in Sun Valley! I especially loved the ice chair. I have had a running thing going since I was a child... I have pictures of myself sitting in abnormally large chairs. This picture will add to my collection! :)

My Two Favorite Holiday Lipsticks!

Can you believe Christmas is one week away?! It seems like this holiday season is going by so fast! It just began and it is almost over. :( With that said, I am going to make the most of the days that are left. Plus, I find joy in the fact that the day after Christmas marks the beginning of planning for Christmas 2015!!

During this time of the year, I love wearing lipstick. I tend to wear it more than any other time of the year because I feel like the holiday season and lipstick are like two peas in a pod! These are my two favorites:

~Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick (Copper Pink - N9)~ I received this lipstick in my birthday gift at Sephora. The color definitely looks different applied than in the packaging. On the lips, it looks exactly as the name describes- like a copper pink! It is creamy and moisturizing. It has great color payoff and it has some shine. It is definitely not matte. I love its versatility. I can wear it with an everyday look and my lips will look nude and natural. I can also wear it with a smokey eye at night! Even though it is the holiday season, I do not want to wear red lipstick every day and night. I like to turn to this color instead.

~Smashbox Megatint Long Wear Lip Color (Mulberry)~ I bought this lipstick at Sephora two years ago and I have not looked back! I love it! This lipstick is a garnet red. It is extremely long-lasting. I am actually wearing it right now. I just finished drinking hot chocolate and it has not come off! This lipstick is almost matte but not quite there yet. It is still a little bit creamy. Overall, this is a really pretty red for the holidays and I love how it looks on me. When I go for a red, I always pick this one.

Favorite Holiday Nail Polishes: Reds

All three of these nail polishes are from Finger Paints. They are all completely different and unique. Finger Paints is one of my favorite nail polish brands. During the holiday season, you can never go wrong with red! It's the mascot color of Christmas time!

Romanticism Ruby ~ This is a combination of Romanesque Rouge and Millefio-Red. It is a darker red with pink undertones. What makes this color amazing is that it also has red sparkles! You can't deny sparkles! This is a glam color for this holiday season. Instead of wearing a plain red or adding a design, this color gives a little extra with sparkles. I love this nail polish! I will definitely be wearing it for Christmas Eve and Day!

Romanesque Rouge ~ This is a red with pink undertones. In other words, it's a pinky red! This is truly a unique color. I love wearing this nail polish as an alternative to a true red. Some people (like me) love pink for the holidays; so, this color is the perfect combination!

Millefio-Red ~ This is a cardinal red. It is plain and simple. It goes on smoothly and evenly. Overall, it's a really pretty color. If you want a darker red for the holiday season, this nail polish is fantastic!

Oh Baby It's Cold Outside

Coat: Rue21 // Boots: Totes Snow Boots at DSW // Scarf: Local Boutique
Cardigan: Curio New York // Ring: Stately Steel

It has been really cold out lately and I am starting to layer my clothes more and more. It is important to remember that you can still be fashionable and stylish when it is 20 degrees outside. I love wearing a long sleeve t-shirt with a knit cardigan and wool coat on top. However, mixing different fabrics/textures is key. My coat is not 100% wool. The faux leather sleeves give it some edge.

I was comfortable without a thick scarf, so I decided to wear my scarf that doubles as a necklace. It is basically a scarf with jewelry on it. There is a large heart in the middle, which is my favorite part. I just love hearts! Isn't it awesome?! I haven't seen anything like it before!

There was some snow on the ground, so I wore my snow boots. You can't see the snow in the pictures because I was underneath a huge overhead thing! Anyways, this outfit is perfect for when it is cold but not having to trudge through three feet of snow! It is also a great alternative to wearing a huge puffer jacket.

Do you usually grab for your puffer jacket when it starts to get cold, or do you go for an alternative look as I did? Let me know in the comments below!

FAB Finds: A Lovely Raincoat

This is a huge find, especially since it seems to be raining more than usual for this time of the year. I bought this brand new Calvin Klein XS raincoat for $22! Can you believe it?! It is single-breasted with pockets, buttoned cuffs, and a removable hood. It is lined on the inside with a purple trim. This coat has one pleat at the top of the back to create a slimming effect.

I love this rain coat because it is lightweight with a flirty, feminine flair. It looks like a combination between a trench coat and a raincoat. At first glance, it is hard to tell what it actually is. When it is raining, you don't want to compromise style. This rain coat is chic, glamorous, and practical! Calvin Klein is well-known for their coats, so you can never go wrong with one.

I know I'll get a lot of use out of this raincoat for years to come. I'm so excited I found it for such a great price at my local thrift store! Have you seen my post How to Shop at a Thrift Store? Check it out here.

Favorite Holiday Nail Polishes: Metallics and Sparkles

All three of these nail polishes are by ORLY. I love their formula- they make a great nail polish! The polish itself does not streak and is not too liquidy or goopy. It's just right!

Halo ~ This is gorgeous! It is not chunky like most glitters. I usually have to dig around the bottle with the brush to try and "scoop" out the glitter. I don't have to do that anymore! It has a perfect consistency. I just apply it as I would apply any other polish. There are tiny specks of gold and silver glitter with larger silver circles. One coat will give you a light glitter on top of any color. Two coats will not show any bottom coat. It will just look like glitter!

Sea Gurl ~ This is a gunmetal nail polish. It has that gunmetal gray with a hint of silver. The silver catches the light and makes it shimmer. This is an edgier nail polish. It would pair well with a fancy dress and a leather jacket with black booties. Using this would be the alternative to the traditional red and the festive gold/silver polish. It is a more appropriate version of black for this holiday season because it is not as harsh.

Luxe ~ Gold. Beautiful gold. It has some hints of silver, as did Sea Gurl, that reflect off the light and make it shimmer. You cannot go wrong with this color. It epitomizes the holiday season and will pair well with any outfit. This color can be worn throughout the holiday's and into New Years. Everyone needs a great gold nail polish in their life and this is just the one!

The Christmas Tag 2014

What is/are your favorite Christmas movie(s)?

Oh goodness. There really are too many. I love The Holiday, Elf, Christmas with the Kranks, Santa Clause 1,2, &3, Four Christmases, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, etc. Let's just put it this way, I've watched about 20 Christmas movies so far in the span of two weeks. No joke.

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

It's tradition to open one present on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas morning!

Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?

I have so many Christmas memories, so I can't choose just one (not surprised)! Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I'm going to be one of those annoying neighbors with Christmas lights up all year. I'll make sure to change the colors out based on holiday and season. :p

Anyways, I digress. When I lived in California, I went to Fashion Island every year to see the ginormous Christmas tree and sit on the huge presents that surround it. I went to see Santa until I was about 10 or 11, so that is a big memory of mine. There was this one Christmas tree lot that I always went to until they got rid of it (grrr). The trees were really large and the lot was huge. I always loved walking through it, especially since I was small. It made the trees seem so big and it made the experience more magical.

Two other memories I have are my Nana coming to my house for Christmas every year, as well as going to Mission Thrift n Gift to shop for presents. My mom shopped there when she was pregnant with me. So, literally since I was born I have been going there. They have amazing Christmas decorations and gifts.

Favorite festive food?

My mom always makes her famous lasagna for Christmas dinner. It is the best lasagna in the ENTIRE world!! Some can be very mushy, which I do not like. My mom's is absolutely perfect- she has the ratios down! For Christmas Eve, among other things, we always have some type of potatoes (mashed or scalloped) and ham with Boars Head Brown Sugar and Spice Glaze. If you haven't tried this glaze, you have not lived! It's absolutely amazing. The glaze just takes the ham to a whole other level.

Favorite Christmas gift?

As of late, my favorite Christmas gift is my Smashbox Photo Op Mega Palette I received two years ago. There really are no words to describe how amazing this palette is. As a child, my favorite Christmas gifts were my Easy Bake Oven, kitchen, Bratz Safe, as well as all Barbies, babies, and dolls I received. Clearly I'm not good at narrowing things down!

Favorite Christmas scent?

I love anything with vanilla and caramel for perfume. I love fragrances that smell like pine (Christmas trees) and mint as well. I wouldn't wear those two scents though! haha

Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

Like I said before, it is tradition to open one present on Christmas Eve. It is also a tradition to watch The Holiday, which is one of the best movies of all time. I literally have a giant poster of this movie hanging in the living room right now. I always drink a Shirley Temple with extra Maraschino Cherries. I have more general Christmas traditions than traditions specific to Christmas Eve.

What tops your tree?

Currently I have a mini wreath that says "Merry" on top of my tree. It's is very hard to explain what it actually looks like but it is really cool! I like to put some of the Christmas lights from around the tree inside the wreath to make it glow!

As a kid, what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

There was never a gift I persistently asked for year after year and never received. I've gotten the best gifts throughout my life and I've always been one of the people (even as a child) that is grateful for anything.

What's the best part about Christmas for you?

I love everything about Christmas! I have a Swedish Christmas tree that has been passed down in my family since my great grandmother. She collected the beautiful figurines from all over the world. I love putting it up every Christmas. I love decorating my house, in general, and the real Christmas tree.

I love listening to Christmas music (top 2= Christina Aguilera: My Kind of Christmas and Blake Shelton: Cheers, It's Christmas) and watching Christmas movies. I love baking cookies and the entire atmosphere of the holiday season!  I also love spending time with family and giving gifts! I'm one of those people who start planning and buying gifts in July. Hey, at least it's not January! I'm not that crazy! haha

What are your favorite things about Christmas? I tag all of you, so make sure to leave your answers in the comments below!

Color of the Month - December

December is finally here!! This means I am singing Christmas songs 24/7 and watching Christmas movies every day of the week. I just can’t say no to the movies on Hallmark! I actually just watched Matchmaker Santa tonight and it was ah-mazing! So, can you guess what the color of the month is? No, it’s not red. It’s Pagoda Blue!

Pagoda Blue brings wisdom, truth, and vision. This color aids in dealing with others who have alternative points of view and it allows us to believe the real truth will be revealed. This means you can wear it to that holiday party you are dreading to go to for help in dealing with the people there! You can also wear it to instill confidence in your visions. Pagoda Blue can be used by anyone on a spiritual journey or for travel and exploration.

What do you think about the color of the month for December? Will you incorporate it into your home or wardrobe? Also, what are you looking forward to the most this holiday season? Let me know in the comments below!!

How do I know about the color of the month? I found all of the information in the book Colorstrology by Michele Bernhardt. You can find it here.

DIY Peppermint Sugar Scrub

This Peppermint Sugar Scrub is amazing! Whether you want to make it for yourself or as a Christmas gift, it definitely embodies this holiday season. It smells delicious- like a York Peppermint Pattie! You will literally want to eat it! This scrub leaves your skin feeling super soft and moisturized.

(Makes four, 4 oz. Jars)

1 cup Coconut Oil (or a different oil of your choice), softened in microwave for 45 seconds
2 cups Sugar
40-50 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil

Combine ingredients in a bowl. Distribute into your four jars. You can decorate your jar any way you would like! I tied a bow around the lid with twisted gold rope. I also created a tag and attached it to the rope. I wrote Peppermint Sugar Scrub on it in red sharpie with a little zigzag design.

This recipe can be customized to your liking. You can replace the coconut oil with another oil of your choice. You can also replace the peppermint essential oil with another essential oil of your choice. You can even combine essential oils! I do have to say though that the coconut oil and peppermint essential oil combination is fantastic! What do you think of this recipe? Will you give it a try? Let me know in the comments below!

Southern Buttermilk Biscuits

These are the perfect Southern Buttermilk Biscuits! They are light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious! You can eat them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! They are very cost-effective and the dough can freeze for up to a month. This is the biscuit recipe you will be using for years!

2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting the board
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon baking power w/o aluminum
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, very cold
1 cup buttermilk (approx.)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl or in the bowl of a food processor. Cut the butter into chunks and cut into the flour until it resembles course meal. If using a food processor, pulse a few times until this consistency is achieved. Add the buttermilk and mix JUST until combined. If it appears on the dry side, add a bit more buttermilk. It should be very wet.

Turn the dough out onto a floured board. Gently pat (do NOT roll with a rolling pin) the dough out with your hands until it's about 1/2" thick. Fold the dough about 5 times, gently press the dough down to 1 inch thick. The key to amazing biscuits is to handle the dough as little as possible. Use a round cutter to cut into rounds. Gently knead the scraps together to make a few more.

Place the biscuits on a cookie sheet. If you like soft sides, place them touching each other. If you like "crusty" sides, place them about 1 inch apart. These will not rise as high as the biscuits placed close together.

Bake for about 10-12 minutes. The biscuits will be a beautiful light golden brown on top and bottom. Do not over bake.

Note: A food processor is ideal because the ingredients stay colder and there's less chance of over mixing. I did not use a food processor, so the biscuits in the picture above were achieved without one.

You can make these biscuits, cut them, and freeze them for up to a month. When you want fresh biscuits, simply place them frozen on the cookie sheet and bake at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes.

John Masters Organics Review- Skin Care!

I tested out four John Masters Organics skin care products*: Calendula Hydrating & Toning Mask, Pomegranate Facial Nourishing Oil, Rose & Aloe Hydrating Toning Mist, and SPF 30 Natural Mineral Sunscreen. I love all four products, especially since my face is becoming dry and flaky due to the cold, dry weather in my area.

~Calendula Hydrating & Toning Mask~

This mask is said to be super-hydrating and nutrient-rich. It is also said to help keep skin oxygenated, protect against free radical damage, regenerate collagen, and balance the production of sebum. This mask is for dry and weather-damaged skin. It can be used after skiing or any other drying activity. It contains calendula, which is an antiseptic and antibacterial, and rice, which softens and heals while helping to prevent wrinkles. It also contains shea butter, aloe vera gel, and aspen bark.

Snow is here and my face has been unusually dry lately. I would definitely say my face is beginning to get weather-damaged because of the cold, dry air. This mask is amazing! It left my skin moisturized and soft. There were no flakes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has dry skin or to anyone who lives in cold, dry weather. Love, love, love!

Price Description:
2 oz. $26

You can buy this product here.

~Pomegranate Facial Nourishing Oil~
This oil is said to provide ultra hydration, as well as improve skin elasticity. It can be used for the face, hands, feet, and body on dry and mature skin. It is rich in antioxidants. It contains 12 organic oils such as pomegranate seed oil, which is a powerful antioxidant, and rosewood oil, which naturally rejuvenates dry, dull skin. It also contains olive oil, which binds moisture to the skin, and geranium oil, which balances oily and dry skin.

I used this oil after I washed off the Calendula Hydrating & Toning Mask. It is a heavier oil, so a little goes a long way. The mask and the oil together is a match made in heaven! They are an amazing combination! The oil is very hydrating and smells amazing. Along with using it on my face, I used it on my hands and feet. The oil nourished my skin and left it super soft. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to moisturize and hydrate their skin!

Price Description:
2 fl oz. $30

You can buy this product here.

~Rose & Aloe Hydrating Toning Mist~

This mist is said to tone, hydrate, and protect the skin. It is also said to reduce the appearance of pores, stimulate blood circulation, and reduce inflammation. It can be used for these purposes or to lift your spirits throughout the day. It contains rose flower oil, which soothes sensitive skin, and rice, which softens and heals while helping to prevent wrinkles. It also contains white tea, which is high in antioxidants, and gotu kola, which heals and firms the skin.

Recently, I have fallen in love with facial mists. I love spraying my face throughout the day. This mist is amazing! I use it to refresh myself through the day, to hydrate my skin, and to set my makeup. It is really universal and can be used in many ways. I love the smell! I also love how the ingredients are good for you! For instance, there is no artificial coloring. The ingredients are certified organic and cruelty free.

Price Description:
2 fl oz. $20

You can buy this product here.

~SPF 30 Natural Mineral Sunscreen~

This sunscreen is said to provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, as well as moisturize and hydrate the skin. It is bio-degradable and reef friendly. It won the Very Best ELLE Essential Beauty Products award. This sunscreen contains titanium dioxide, which has UV-resistant properties, and zinc oxide, which is the broadest spectrum UVA and UVB absorber.  It also contains shea butter, jojoba, and green tea.

I tested this product throughout the summer and I love it! It is very creamy and quickly sinks into the skin. It does not have a strong sunscreen smell. It actually smells really great! I love how this sunscreen is good for you and the environment. There are no harmful chemicals. This is really important to me.

It provides great protection from the sun. I do tan easily, so naturally I do not burn that quickly. However, I do burn on my shoulders, nose, and thighs if I don't apply sunscreen. I found that this particular sunscreen is amazing because I did not burn this summer! Instead, I got a nice, even tan! I am not going to say that you will not burn at all because everyone's skin is different; however, I can say that this is the best sunscreen I have used.

Price Description:
2 fl oz. $32

Favorite Fall Nail Polishes

KleanColor Iridescent Fuschia ~ This is a true palatinate purple color. It's a deep shade, but still very pretty!
butter London Pillar Box Red ~ Two Words: Classic red. If you don't have that perfect shade of red for your collection, you need to purchase this nail polish! You will love it! I tend to only wear this nail polish during the fall time; however, it can double as a pretty red for the holidays as well.
Orly Close your Eyes ~ This is a beautiful wine nail polish with bronze shimmer. I have never seen a color with bronze shimmer until I saw this shade. It is truly unique! It epitomizes the fall season.
L'Oreal Violet Vixen ~ This is a gorgeous berry color! It is the prettiest shade of berry I have found in a while.

Sinful Colors Professional WinterBerry ~ This is a pomp and power purple (yes, that is the name of an actual shade of purple) with silver. It glistens in the light. I love it!
KleanColor Concrete Gray ~ This is a beautiful dark gray. This nail polish goes on perfectly because it is very pigmented. You only need one coat, however I usually paint two coats to be safe.
Orly Mysterious Curse ~ This is a purple nail polish with little blue specks. The purple and blue are combined so seamlessly that it is truly a mystery how they created this color! The nail polish looks purple and blue at the same time!
Borghese Euro Green ~ This is a gorgeous olive green with gold sparkles. The sparkles are not chunky at all. This nail polish looks absolutely stunning on the nails!

John Masters Organics Review - Hair Products!

I tested out three John Masters Organics hair products*: Green Tea and Calendula Leave-in Conditioning Mist, Rose and Apricot Hair Milk, and Deep Scalp Follicle Treatment and Volumizer for Thinning Hair. I love two out of the three products!

~Green Tea and Calendula Leave-in Conditioning Mist~

This product contains green tea extract, which is rich in antioxidants and is a natural antibacterial, and calendula extract, which soothes and protects the hair and scalp. This product is said to add shine, tame frizz, strengthen hair, and build volume. It is both lightweight and safe for color treated hair. It won the betternutrition Best of Natural Beauty Award 2014.

The first thing I noticed when I tested this out was that it smells amazing! I sprayed this mist on my ends while my hair was damp. After I blow dried it, I noticed that I had no static or frizz. My ends were conditioned and shiny. Since this is lightweight, my ends were not as shiny as using an oil. However, I would not hesitate to go out without putting any other product on my hair.

Overall, I love this product! It is best used as a lightweight conditioner or as a quick fix to any frizz and/or shine issues you may be experiencing.

Price Description:
4.2 fl oz. $24

You can buy this product here.

~Rose and Apricot Hair Milk~

This product is said to add natural shine, moisturize, and leave hair more manageable. It contains rose flower oil, which softens and nourishes hair, and apricot oil, which treats dryness. It also contains rosehip seed oil, which hydrates hair. It is safe for color treated hair and is best for dry or damaged hair. It is lightweight and may be used as a light-hold styling product.

I used this product on my damp hair. After I blow dried it, I noticed that my hair was considerably shiny and soft. There was no frizz or static. My hair was really moisturized, but not greasy or weighed-down. I found that although this product is lightweight, it did leave my hair more shiny than the conditioning mist. I love both; however, this product is my favorite. It also helps that it smells like I am surrounded by a rose garden!

If you have dry or damaged hair, you will love this product! It does not matter if you have a greasy scalp, apply it to your ends and it will be perfect! You will notice that your hair is healthy and hydrated!

Price Description:
4 fl oz. $26

You can buy this product here

~Deep Scalp Follicle Treatment and Volumizer for Thinning Hair~

This product contains thyme, which is a scalp stimulant and an antiseptic, and irish moss, which is a natural detoxifier. It also contains arnica, which is healing to the scalp and anti-inflammatory. It is said to encourage healthy hair growth from the roots out and volumize.

I unfortunately do not like this product. It made my hair matted and greasy. It requires you to spray it all over your hair and then massage your scalp. I have a naturally greasy scalp. This product made my hair greasy right away, and I had just washed it!

I would not recommend this product for anyone who has greasy hair. I did test this out on my mom who has a dry scalp and hair. She loved it!

Price Description:
4.2 fl oz. $23

You can buy this product here.

I am going to review John Masters Organics Calendula Hydrating and Toning Mask, Pomegranate Facial Nourishing Oil, Rose and Aloe Hydrating Toning Mist, and SPF 30 Natural Mineral Sunscreen on 11/22. So, make sure to check back to see how the products worked for me!
